Shout Out Monday!
Today, I wanted to give a quick shout out to my favorite facial scrub from Acure. I purchased this at my local Target. Sometimes the lady that works in the beauty department at Target has samples of products to hand out. This is how I came across the Acure brightening facial scrub.
I’ve tried all kinds of facial scrubs from high-end to drug store. However, I find myself always reaching for this one. I love how smooth it makes my skin feel afterwards. It’s got just the right amount of abrasion with out tearing up my face or making me break out. When I’m traveling, I always make sure to bring a travel size with me.
I use this Acure facial scrub three times a week. A little of this product really goes a long way! I use a pea size amount on my face. In between uses I will use the Clairisonic Mia 2. My forty something skin needs daily exfoliation otherwise it feels bumpy and looks very dull. I also have combination skin with frequent hormonal breakouts (especially around my chin area) so exfoliation helps keep those breakouts to a minimum.
Before using this product the first thing you will want to do is clean your skin with your favorite cleanser then apply Acure facial scrub to your skin. Using circular motions, gently massage your face avoiding the eye area. You can also use this scrub on your neck and chest. Gently massage your face for around a minute and then rinse. You will immediately notice the difference in how soft and smooth your skin feels. If you have current breakouts, I would suggest avoiding those areas until they have healed.
It has a very nice and thick texture. The lemon peel and sea kelp granules do not scratch or damage but gets the job done! Nice earthy smells – rinses clean! Leaves skin feeling refined and refreshed!
Here is the official packaging description and more specific info about this product:

Walmart carries some Acure items at least on-line, however, the only place I’ve found the brightening facial scrub is at Target. Target sells the full size facial scrub for $9.99 and the travel size for $3.99. You can also find more Acure products at Target as well. They have cleansers, shampoo, conditioners and masks to name a few. I also found that Target has a larger selection of the Acure brand on-line.
If your looking for an inexpensive brightening facial scrub I highly recommend the Acure scrub.
I would love to hear how you like or dislike this product once you’ve tried it. Also, what skin care products are you loving right now? I’m always on the look out for awesome skin care products!
Thanks for stopping by and I hope you found this review useful. Please feel free to leave me a comment. I would love to hear from you!
