Today, I wanted to show you a quick and easy DIY Easter bunny makeover, using this cute bunny from the dollar spot at Target.
Once again, I can’t walk past the dollar spot at Target and not see something I think I should have. I’m also a sucker when it comes to bunnies. So, when I saw this cute little green bunny I thought “of course you’re coming home with me!”
The neat thing about these bunnies is they are cute on their own or you can add a few items to give them a little more dimension.
Here is a list of items I used for my bunny:
- Bunny from Target $3.00.
- Carrot ribbon from Michaels.
- Orange polka dot ribbon that I already had.
- One orange carrot that came in a package from Michaels
- Hot Glue gun and glue sticks
This project is super easy an takes less than 10 minutes to make.
The first thing I did was wrap a piece of the carrot ribbon around it’s neck and glued into place. Next, I made a simple polka dot bow and also glued that into place. Finally, I took one carrot and glued it to it’s paws and Voila! The bunny has been given a cute little makeover!
Super easy and with a few items you can change the look of this bunny. All together it cost me less than $10.00 to make.
If you find one of these bunnies at your local Target, pick one up and have fun decorating it. You will be able to enjoy this little guy for years to come.
I hope this little project gave you some inspiration and, if you makeover one of these bunnies, please email me a picture of it. I would love to see what you came up with.
Thanks again for stopping by!
