Shout out Monday!
Happy Monday everyone!
I wanted to give a quick shout out and review on this new line of hair care that just hit the shelves at Ulta. I’m always on the look out for a decent priced shampoo and conditioner that is more on the natural side with their ingredients.
I came across this line called Maui Moisture at my local Ulta. Maui Moisture offers a wide range of scents and formulas for all hair types.
Today, I’m going to talk about their Rich Honey shampoo and conditioner, which is what I purchased. The Maui Moisture Rich Honey cost $8.99 per bottle and I used my $3.50 coupon from Ulta. Right now online Ulta is offering a buy 2, get 1 free sale.
The first thing that sold me on this product was the fragrance. I love anything that has a rich honey smell to it. I also found the ingredients very intriguing. So I thought what the heck, lets give this a try.
The Rich Honey shampoo and conditioner is for chemically damaged hair. My hair isn’t damaged per se but, I do get highlights put in every other month.
The all natural ingredients of this shampoo line really caught my eye. Here is a breakdown of some of the important ingredients:
- Hibiscus oil
- Fresh Pineapple extract
- Aloe Vera juice
- Coconut water
I also liked the fact that there was NO;
- water added
- Mineral oil
- Sulfated Surfactants
- Synthetic Dye
All of these products by Maui Moisture are made in the USA and are Eco Friendly.
With the first use of this product I noticed my hair was smooth, manageable and no tangles to brush out. It did NOT feel heavy or greasy in anyway! Once I blew my hair dry, I didn’t feel the need to go back over it with a flat iron. That is a bonus when you need to get out the house quickly.
Even though I just started using this product, I feel confident that I can recommend it for you to try. If it doesn’t work for your hair type you can always return it for something else at Ulta.
Here is a few more pics of some of the other products they offer.
I really have high hopes for this line and will keep you posted. In the mean time, feel free to let me know what hair care products you are using and loving at this time.
As always, thanks for stopping by!
